We have worked hard to bring you the new Espazzola-2+3-58!
Many customers enjoyed the well-known Espazzola-2-58 for years. However nothing is so good that it can’t be made a little better.
We have taken the suggestions and feedback from users around the world to heart and made the Espazzola even better. Discover the improvements here!
The Espazzola-2-58 has two fixed cams - and thus does not fit all group-heads. With the new Espazzola-2+3-58, you decide for yourself how many cams are mounted on the cup: Clips made of stainless steel wire are clipped into specially designed places in the cup wall. Easily adapt the Espazzola to the shape of your portafilter!
The overall size remains the same. The new Espazzola-2+3-58 will of course still fit all machines, which are compatible with the well-known Espazzola-2-58.
(Please note the list of known conflicts!)
With the old Espazzola-2-58, careless handling could damage the plastic cams on the cup, so that after a while the Espazzola would no longer mount to the group-head.
The cam clips of the Espazzola-2+3-58 are made of springy stainless steel wire which makes them much less sensitive even when used vigorously. If a clamp does eventually break, you can replace it easily and quickly.
With the old Espazzola-2-58, there was a possibility for the flexible membrane insert made of silicone rubber to slip out of the holding recesses in the cup rim.
The retaining pockets in the cup of the new Espazzola-2+3-58 are much deeper and provide more grip for the membrane; slipping out is almost impossible.
The membrane of the new Espazzola-2+3-58 has been given a new shape and will adapt even better to shower screens. In addition, the new membrane rewards you with longer durability!
On the old Espazzola 2-58, the used water was guided into the drip tray running along the outside of the guide ribs. Some splashing was inevitable.
In the new Espazzola-2+3-58, the dirty water is collected in a funnel and drained in a controlled manner near the tip of the funnel. Experience even less splashing when cleaning your group-head.
